We do not breed often to meet demand or “fill the puppy market”, but primarily for ourselves as dedicated breeders aiming to preserve and improve the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed.
All Almazart Rhodesian Ridgeback breeding dogs are fully health tested, including hip and elbow scoring (excellent results), DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), JME (Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy), and heart clearance by a veterinary cardiologist.
All breeding is carefully considered and only undertaken from healthy, well-tempered dogs that are true to correct breed type and conformation.
Puppies are raised in our home with 24/7 care, early socialisation, and high-quality nutrition to ensure a confident start to family life.
All puppies are vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, regularly wormed, and tested for dermoid sinus before leaving at 8–9 weeks of age.
Companion puppies are sold on limited registration (not for breeding) and, please note that, in accordance with Dog and Cat Management Board requirements, will undergo a tubal ligation or vasectomy procedure prior to leaving our care. Show potential puppies may be available by negotiation to approved show homes.

Each puppy goes to its new home with registration papers, pedigree, information guide, premium food, and a comfort toy.
If puppies are not available, we are happy to refer prospective owners to other reputable Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders.
